About Us

Affinity Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization Dedicated to Empowering the Lives of the Underprivileged in Sri Lanka.

In the face of economic collapse and the people’s struggle for change, Affinity Foundation emerged to address the pressing needs of the underprivileged in Sri Lanka. We have provided over 30,000 meals and through the Affinity way 3 pronged approach we have increased children’s physical growth, level of education and participation. Our founders, Dinesh and Michael, formalized their efforts to ensure 100% donation transparency. Currently sponsoring 200+ students and serving 10,000+ meals, we are committed to empowering lives and creating a brighter future. Join us in making a lasting impact and fostering change in Sri Lanka.

The Affinity Way: Nurturing Holistic Child Nutrition

Affinity Foundation takes a comprehensive approach to child nutrition, ensuring that the meals we provide have a lasting impact. Our three-pronged strategy focuses on growth, education, and attendance.

We implement a three-month high protein meal program that monitors student BMI at the beginning, midpoint, and end. This approach enables us to track physical growth and ensure the meals meet the nutritional needs of each child.

We collaborate with teaching staff to monitor students’ test scores. By assessing the impact of our nutritious meals on academic performance, we ensure that children have the necessary energy to actively participate in the classroom and support their mental growth.

We work to improve attendance by encouraging children who have dropped out to return to school. By addressing food scarcity and providing nutritious meals, we aim to foster overall well-being, resulting in healthier growth and reduced sick days.

Through this three-pronged approach, we strive to nurture holistic child nutrition. By monitoring growth, enhancing education, and fostering regular participation, we make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of these children.
